Great rates that deliver value. The hotel boasts clean, comfortable rooms and a genuinely pleasant staff. The proximity to major attractions and the interstate is a significant advantage, making downtown easily accessible without the usual traffic headaches. Staff responsiveness is commendable; they accommodated our schedule changes effortlessly. The dining options, especially at Stacks, exceeded expectations with generous portions. the musty and cigarette odors in the hallways are concerning. Carpeting magnifies allergy issues, and cleanliness needs addressing. Wi-Fi issues and malfunctioning television marred the experience. Despite commendable features, a serious focus on maintaining cleanliness and improving air quality would elevate this stay. Worth considering, but with an eye for improvements.

I appreciate the reasonable price for my stay. The location is convenient and the bed quality is decent.

The hallways felt a bit too dark and seedy for my taste.

Spacious room, comfortable bed with excellent amenities like a warm shower and two hot tubs for relaxation during my stay.

Nothing I didn't like.

I can't believe how sketchy the bathroom was! The shower wouldn’t drain, leaving me standing in soapy water, and there were weird stains everywhere. Plus, the sheets were so thin I could see through them. Definitely not staying here again!

The hotel has a nice indoor pool and two hot tubs. Our room had cleanliness issues with hair in the bathroom. Attached restaurants were convenient for meals. It was a bit far from downtown, but close to a golf course. Staff was generally friendly but service could improve.

I loved how easy it was to explore the city from this spot, being just a short ride away from downtown, with tons of restaurants and parks nearby like Baxter Woods and the Fore River Sanctuary just a couple kilometers away, perfect for nice long strolls; the hotel itself was clean and comfortable, with friendly staff and a great breakfast spot attached for easy dining, but the room could use some attention to freshness.

The room was clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised by the jetted tub. The sliding glass door to the small patio was a nice touch, making unloading our bags simpler. The refrigerator was useful, but the absence of a microwave was inconvenient. Staff were generally friendly, though one night staff member was rude about towels at the pool. One of the coffee dispensers had old water, which was off-putting. I had booked a king suite but found a queen bed, which was a tight fit for my husband. The pool and jacuzzi were clean, and the adult-only time was enjoyable.

I appreciated the amenities like the ironing facilities and the flat-screen TV provided in the room. The carpeted floor added a cozy touch to the room as well. there were some areas that could use improvement. One issue was the lack of proper heating in the room. The air conditioning seemed to be working fine, but the room felt a bit chilly at times, especially in the early morning hours. I also noticed that there were no tea and coffee facilities in the room, which was a bit disappointing as I enjoy having a hot beverage in the morning. there was no mini-bar available, so I had to go out to get any drinks or snacks I wanted. the hotel did offer car hire services, which was convenient for exploring the area. The laundry facilities were also handy for freshening up clothes during my stay. while there were some minor drawbacks, my experience at Ramada Plaza was decent.

Strong match for a concise stay in Portland with decent value for money. Free long-term parking is a plus.

The indoor pool and hot tub were perfect for winding down after a day of adventure. I loved the delicious meals at both 'Stacks' and the volcano restaurant – huge portions and great prices! The beds were incredibly comfy, and it was so peaceful that I slept like a baby despite how busy the place was.

Would be happy to recommend 😊❤️

Beds and pillows were surprisingly comfortable, felt like a 4 or 5-star hotel! Super close to the freeway for road trips, and the staff was accommodating and polite.

The place was in dire need of a makeover. Dirty carpets and pool/hot tub area.

A cozy king-size bed and a clean room made for a comfortable night, and the balcony added a nice touch. The front desk staff was polite, but the bathroom needed serious attention, with remnants of past guests still lingering. The pool was chaotic, filled with rowdy kids and closed for hours after a mess, which really threw off our plans. Limited dining options nearby, and the breakfast spot was closed the next day. The location was decent, but the overall experience felt uneven, with some amenities falling short of expectations.

Ramada Plaza offers surprisingly luxurious mattresses and pillows that rival 4 or 5-star hotels. The peaceful atmosphere on the second floor, combined with a lovely balcony and excellent air conditioning, made my stay exceptionally enjoyable. Plus, the friendly staff added to the welcoming environment!

The indoor pool was a lifesaver during the heat wave and the kids had a blast. The attached Volcano restaurant serves up amazing pizza and soup from a Greek chef, you can't miss it!

It wasn't exactly a bargain, but for what you get, it's worth it.

The hotel's convenient location near the highway made it easy to reach downtown quickly without dealing with heavy traffic. the cleanliness of the rooms was a key aspect that I enjoyed, ensuring a comfortable stay.

There were some drawbacks to note. The cleanliness of the bathroom and pool area left something to be desired, with broken equipment in the pool and hot tubs.

Our family travel to Peaks Island was delightful, with picturesque views and activities like golf cart tours. Ramada Plaza in Portland offered a convenient location near attractions like Walker's Point and Portland Headlight, making our weekend getaway memorable.

My kids wished for more child-friendly amenities.

The proximity to Baxter Woods was a major draw for me, as I wanted to explore the natural beauty and hiking trails in the area. I was pleasantly surprised by the diverse local cuisine at the nearby restaurants and breweries, making it a delightful culinary experience.

Multiple room moves, uncomfortable bed.

nice room but we needed three beds and they couldn’t accommodate that in one room. pool and fitness room were a good bonus. the breakfasts at the adjoining egg and i were wonderful, but not included in the price of the hotel. our room was large and had a refrigerator, a microwave, several chairs, and plenty of room for all our luggage. we loved having two sinks, the extra one being outside of the bathroom. we were close to the end of the hall so it was convenient to go in and out of that door to get to our car. there were a plenty of mirrors, including full length ones. the hotel has a shuttle van and a driver took us to the airport to get our rental car. the prices at this facility were much cheaper than the hotels in downtown, where i wanted to stay at first. however, now that i've been and know the layout a bit, i would definitely choose this ramada and this room again. the pluses far exceeded any minuses. staff was very friendly and helpful. the room was clean and well appointed. the bed was very comfortable. the air conditioning did a good job on a vey hot day, and was thermostat controlled. there are no bed spreads on the bed. i found this to be odd, but i was told that is normal. i asked for and was given an extra blanket. i did use it but the workout room looked good, there were people using it.

All was good 😊

My friends and I had a lit time exploring Peaks Island and Walker's Point from the hotel. We rented golf carts and hit up all the dope spots. The area is perfect for biking and chilling by the water - definitely a vibe for young peeps like us.

More lit nightlife options nearby would have made our experience even more fire.

Felt like never left home with pet-friendly hotel, cozy amenities, and vibrant city nearby. Great dining at Seasons Bar & Grille. Convenient location to explore.

Enjoyed guessing the mystery stains on the sheets and the magical disappearing fridge that never worked.

We were pleasantly surprised by the updated room and the accommodating front staff, who had our room ready before the check-in time. Despite a few drawbacks, the overall value was worth it. Overall I'd recommend this hotel.
